The DeKalb County History Center and the DeKalb County Nonprofit Partnership are pleased to offer Museum Day on June 14. This unique professional development opportunity is available at no cost to staff, board members, and volunteers of museums located in DeKalb County, Illinois.
Matt Meachum from Illinois Humanities, will be presenting at the event to discuss how local history groups can compliment the traveling Smithsonian exhibit, Crossroads: Change in Rural America.
In addition, experts from North Central College and Northern Illinois University will present about agricultural history, collecting and organizing data, and how to tell an impactful story with data.
Lunch is included.
